WOLF is designed to include parents as part of the educational team responsible for student success.
Parents are expected to attend student orientations with each student enrolling in WOLF. Parents are asked to list home, cell and work phone numbers as well as email addresses where we can send messages. Parents are encouraged to use the Infinite Campus Parent Portal to track student grades and attendance. Parents are also given access to the Advanced Academics WOLF Parent Portal to track students’ progress in their courses. They are encouraged to contact teachers directly with any questions they have. All correspondence that goes to a student is also sent to the parent email address and phone calls are made to the parent as well as the student whenever the student falls behind in course work. Attendance calls are made to parents. The WOLF homepage is continually updated with announcements and information for students and parents. The elementary teacher holds bi-monthly parent meetings (these normally include a pot luck lunch) and field trips that parents are required to attend with their children. A PSAT parent night was held to distribute student results and explain the student reports to parents.
