Damonte Ranch High School - Parents

Communication
Parent communication is supported in a variety of formal and informal ways. There are several tools used to inform parents of important information on a regular basis which include a newsletter, ConnectEd - phone dialer, Infinite Campus - which provides academic progress and attendance information as well as other important information, and our school website. Our staff is committed to being proactive in communicating with parents. A parent boosters group meets monthly and collaborates with the principal on strategies to support parents, students, and teachers. The boosters recruit for membership throughout the year. Boosters offer a vehicle for parents to get involved in a variety of ways to support the school. Parents are also invited to have coffee and conversation with the principal once every month. Boosters play an active role reaching out to the community at the annual Dollars for Scholars event to support scholarship needs of our students. There are also a variety of functions which welcome parents to the school such as an Ice Cream Social, Open House, AP Parent Night, evening parenting classes, parent focus groups, and parent/teacher/student conferences.
