Hug High School aggressively seeks to communicate with ALL of our parents. We have intentionally hired bi-lingual staff to support our parents in their native language. Hug employs a fulltime Parent Involvement Facilitator as well as utilizes Americorps volunteers to ensure parental outreach and communication. We make frequent home visits and have numerous activities on campus to support and engage our parents in their students' schooling experience. Staff at Hug communicate weekly with parents through our PBS "Good News" cards. Hug utilizes the ConnectEd phone system communicating in both English and Spanish to support parental engagement. Our goal as a school community is to meet parents "where they are" and provide whatever support they need to ensure the success of their son/daughter.
