Wooster has hosted many parent and community events throughout the 2010-11 school year. Our back-to-school night in September was a great success with over 300 parents in attendance. Our student leadership program hosted a Halloween Carnival for neighborhood elementary students in October that included Wooster's first ever Tamale Cookoff. A community tailgater was held during the football homecoming game that included participation from the fans of Wooster's opponent! Our amazing parent organizations, the Wooster Boosters, the International Baccalaureate Boosters (IBB), and the Band Boosters met regularly to plan and organize a variety of fundraisers including the Annual Crab Crack and Senior Fashion Show. Fundraising events have helped purchase new seats for our Little Theater as well as the installation of lights to the football stadium allowing Wooster's football games to be played on Friday nights. IBB has also hosted parent and student socials for our incoming 9th grade IB students. The school district's implementation of the Infinite Campus parent and student portal has been very successful at Wooster in helping parents track the progress of their child.
