CSMS PTSA has increased in membership and continues to provide support and assistance to students and staff. Monday Morning Cafe meets once per month with parent club board members, administration and parents to review events and receive feedback. A variety of events involving parents and community members have been established to include monthly parent club meetings, student/parent orientations, music programs, math night, all school science fair, North Valley Fair, Father/Daughter Dance, Perfect Evening of Arts and Auction, Science Camp, Kids Court, 8th Grade Celebration, 5-7 Field Day, Archery Lunch Program, After school Athletics, Bridge Club, Craft Fair, feeder school student and parent visits, Career Day, UNR Silver Scholars, Awards Night, and Run For Literacy. Lifestyle Homes made it possible for several of our students to attend 6th Grade Science Camp this year. We have been especially proud of the increased number of parents and guardians volunteering their time during the school day and attending parent conferences to learn additional strategies on how to support their children's academic needs while at home.
