Incline Middle School encourages and welcomes parent and community involvement in numerous ways. Our Parent Involvement Facilitator assists the school in bridging the communication gap with Spanish speaking parents as well as working with our parent group to organize several multicultural family potluck dinners at the school. Our Jr. Booster parent group provides a monthly newsletter that covers school activities, programs and parenting tips. Incline Afterschool Organization offers sports, dance, and other programs, many of which are held at IMS, free of charge to all students. Our local fire department provides CPR classes, drug, alcohol, and tobacco prevention programs, and fire extinguisher use instruction. The Academic Excellence Foundation offers funding for teacher continuing education and the purchase of education technology. Project MANA provides snacks for students during high stakes testing and students from IMS volunteer at their facility. Nearly 40 community members volunteer weekly to read with students and several community volunteers work with our Bridge Club. Staff, families, and community members work together to foster a positive climate that demonstrates our community’s commitment to education.
