| Communication |
We communicate with our parents through our web-site, Connected phone calls and by way of Infinite Campus. Weekly e-mails are sent to parents by way of Infinite Campus reminding parents of important dates and how they can stay on top of their child’s academic progress.
This year we have increased the number of parent meeting and had one of our teachers hold over 100 parent conferences.
We have an active PTO that raises over 20 thousand dollars a year to support school programs, such as Lego League, Music, and other enrichment classes and opportunities for students. We hold monthly student incentives that are chaperoned and supported by our parents.
This year we focused on connecting our Hispanic community to our building by holding monthly meetings our families sharing assessment data and how to access and read our new report card.
Our PTO has a goal to raise 29K dollars to support the purchase of a new sound system in our gymnasium.
Our parents are very supportive of our school and a valuable resource.
This year we held a career awareness workshop that brought in business and professional leaders within our community to share with students how to become a doctor, lawyer, business owner.
