Lenz ES maximizes opportunities for student learning by establishing strong parent and community partnerships in the following ways:
- Back To School Nights are held the first Tuesday of each new school year
- The Lenz Prints, a monthly newsletter, is sent home electronically to parents
- PTA meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month for parents and staff
- The Lenz website is updated on a weekly basis and lists important school information and upcoming events
- We use the connect-ed phone system to alert parents and families about important announcements
- Two reader boards in front of the school highlight upcoming school happenings
- Parents volunteer in the classrooms and make a significant difference at our school every day
- Through PTA and fundraising efforts, ActivBoards have been purchased for every classroom
- Our parents use Infinite Campus to stay informed about their child's daily academic progress
- We have many family events sponsored by the PTA and staff: Pasta Night, Take Dad or Special Person to School, Science Fair and Wax Museum, Reading Week, Grandparents and Volunteer Breakfast, and Art Night. Together, we continue to work toward creating a positive and academically focused environment.
