Jesse Hall Elementary School prides itself on a high level of parent and community involvement and excellent two-way communication with the families of our students. Our parent-teacher conferences are consistently attended by 97.4% of our parents, who have committed to our educational accords. Teachers frequently share good news and concerns with parents by telephone or email. Information about our school is published in our calendar/handbook and our large PTA sponsors wholesome social events for families and neighbors. Our talented staff plans special opportunities throughout the year at which parents and community can be directly involved: Open House, A Night of Many Nations, Book Fair Nights, Colonial Days, Covered Wagon Races, monthly Bingo Nights, and Congressional Hearings. Additionally, two-way communication is fostered through our monthly news update, “Happy Trails”, and frequent classroom teacher newsletters. We have an open door policy, and welcome the large number of involved parents and volunteers to participate in all school activities with their children.
