The lines of communication between school and family are always open. We are proud of our Rollan Melton Elementary Website with direct links to the school, teachers and Principal. This website continues to offer a wealth of information pertaining to our school events, educational materials, and the WCSD website. Our Melton Messenger to parents, regular classroom newsletters, calendars, correspondence, flyers, and progress reports are a few of the many tools used to communicate with parents. Informal and impromptu meetings with families are always welcome. A monthly Connect Ed message is made to make sure parents know upcoming Melton events. Volunteers are always on the Melton campus. Melton parents help in classrooms and the school library. The Parent Faculty Association coordinates a many events: The Welcome Back to School Spaghetti Feed, the Harvest Festival, the Holiday Hop, the Fiesta Hop, and Crop ‘til you Drop. Our multicultural Night emphases the many ethnic backgrounds in our school and recognizes our differences. Our Melton Talent Show celebrates our very talented students.
