-Manse publishes a weekly newsletter. Most documents are sent home with the newsletter. The newsletter and other parent resources are posted on the school’s website. Our student Tech Squad helps maintain our website. We also use anmated message system via phone and email. -We had our 2nd Annual Ice Cream Social before school started. This event gives parents an opportunity to walk students to their new classes and meet teachers. It also gives parents a chance to meet other parents. Community resource providers are also invited to set up tables and meet with parents. With a new school building, we expect turn-out to be even better for our 3rd Annual event. -Manse collaborates with the Nye County Coalition by participating in the Kindergarten Round-Up. Parents can register their students for school and make sure immunizations and other important health concerns are taken care of before school starts. -The PTO organized an after-school enrichment program that offered a variety of classes, such as sewing, technology and art. -We continue to host Family Literacy Nights as a venue for parents and students to enjoy books together and each child leaves with a book of their own.
