SSHS involves parents in many ways. Open House, an opportunity to meet the staff and tour our school.Spaghetti Feed and Pep Rally.Parent Summit .Two Scheduled Parent Conferences (though teachers are always available and accessible.SIP/Data night to show and explain the numbers to the community.College Night featuring area colleges presenting and meeting with students.Financial Aid Night, to assist parents and students through the financial aid process.Student Summit to provide the students and their families a forum to communicate with school and district leaders.College and Career Fair to ready our students and parents for life after SSHS.We utilize the Connect Ed Phone system to deliver timely and important updates and messages.Connect Ed is also utilized to deliver daily attendance calls and weekly intervention messages.A quarterly newsletter is sent out.A comprehensive and continually updated website with all of the information parents may need.Powerschool is utilized by out staff so that parents have up to the minute access to their students grades and attendance.Staff and Administration have an open door policy and are eager to help in every manner possible.
