Yerington High Schoolprovides regular two-way and meaningful communication with parents, family and the community through Freshmen Orientation, WRPT Back To School Night, ACT Preparation, Bridge to Success, Southern Nevada Higher Education Visits, WRPT End of School Year Banquet, WRPT Higher Education Meeting, Tribal Parents Night, FAFSA 4caster Workshop, Parent Summit, Gear-Up Night, Gear-UP Financial Literacy, Gear-Up End of the Year Family Night, Senior Portfolio Presentations, Senior Awards Night, Underclassmen Awards Assembly, Scholarship Night, Parent Conferences, College and Career Fair, Monthly PRIDE/Booster Meetings and ConnectED Messages. In addition, progress reports are sent home every three weeks. Teachers make contact with parents if their student is failing a course. Parents have access to PowerSchool, a web based information system which provides attendance and grade information.
