ConnectEd phone and e-mail service is used to inform parents of school events. PowerSchool, website, and e-mail are utilized between parents and staff to communicate school business. Monthly newsletter/calendar, flyers, & articles submitted to local newspapers. Progress reports are sent home every 3 weeks.SSMS hosts family nights (ice cream social, Town Hall meeting, Student Activities Sign-Up Day, and Title Forum) throughout the school year. Student achievement is honored at our quarterly awards assembly. Parent conferences are held in the fall and spring. Administrators and staff frequently visit homes to celebrate successes and share concerns with members of the Coyote Family. Participating families have an opportunity to fill out satisfaction surveys at selected family nights. Parent involvement, SIP, and advisory committees meet on a regularbasis.
