Parental communication is only one of The Eleanor Lemaire Elementary strengths. We offer numerous activities to bolster parental involvement: Open house, report card conferences& IEP’s. Monthly newsletters and weekly folders are sent home. Translation Services are available. Coordination with related services such as the Frontier Coalition, Family Resource Center, and social services, ect. aid families in need. The district website, school sign, and newsletter include concerts, instrument night, plays, math nights, athletics, book fairs & more.

Daily, before and after school programming as well as summer school is offered. Postcards are mailed home regularly. Incentive programs such as Attendance, Honor Roll, LittleHorn of the Week & more are offered. The attendance committee meets with parents& students to build interventions & support. Parents have access to grades and attendance through PowerSchool. Some parents receive daily sheets regarding their child’s behavior & academic work. Parents are involved in our school improvement plan & surveys. Parents are encouraged to and often stop in and/or call with concerns and suggestions. Outside groups utilize the school and gym regularly.
