Parents and staff communicate at open house and parent-teacher conferences. Parents are encouraged to visit the classroom and communicate with the teaching staff frequently. When necessary, parents and community members are asked to respond to a survey regarding important issues. Parents receive a monthly newsletter in English and in Spanish. Community members are invited to attend school functions and become a volunteer. School information is posted in our local community and placed in our local newsletter to all residents. We have an open door policy which allows parents and community members to participate in the educational process.
