Spring Creek Middle School aspires to provide timely information via an in-depth home school communication system. Our system includes a website that focuses on school events and activities, a forum for opinions on issues, student and parent information, teacher links, class syllabi, and lesson plans. SCMS has developed specific practices including a variety of ways of contacting parents such as regular newsletters, telephone message system, and a school-wide use of assignment binders and planners. SCMS also encourages parents to use PowerSchool to monitor student grades and use teacher email for questions so as to focus communication between parents and educators on student performance. SCMS uses immediate parent contact via phone as well to best meet the needs of our students. SCMS has an open door policy and welcomes the opportunity for parents to attend classes with their student.
