Our school honors parent input and we continue to promote a positive, two-way communication system from school to home. Monthly newsletters, calendar of events, up-to-date website information, and two marquees help promote information. We promote the use of e-mail for regular communication with teachers. Our wonderful Parent Teacher Student Organization holds monthly meetings and encourages all families to get involved. We provide family nights such as the Fall Festival, Sock Hop, Science Fair, Art Fair, and Camp Out. Parent conferences are held yearly for every family and students on a personalized education plan meet three times per year. We have even offered transportation to our families who need assistance. A new program called Healthy Steps including tutoring, parent information, and nutrition. An open door policy is in effect and we love our family volunteers.
