Communication is an important component of Virtual High School's student success. We pride ourselves on communicating with parents on a regular basis through a variety of services. Virtual HS has in-person and online parent/student orientations each semester. Full-time students are assigned a teacher mentor for support with classes and weekly communication with family members. Teachers are accessible to students and parents through school-provided cell phones, instant messaging, e-mail, and face-to-face tutoring. Parents have full access to their students' courses 24/7, and parents have direct access to teachers within each class. Families are contacted monthly via ParentLink and e-mail with announcements pertaining to campus activities. The community at large has access to the school's website, online user support forum, and school phone number to receive personal contact from staff members regarding any questions about Virtual HS.
