Parent communication is ongoing. If there is something parents need to know immediately, they are informed via a letter or ParentLink. ParentLink messages go out at least twice a month. We have six school-wide newsletters that are written by student reporters. We have two parent activities a year where our parents are exposed to service providers who can assist them with the individual needs of their students. Many classrooms have student newspapers that come out on an ongoing basis that tell about campus activities. We also have monthly parent meetings where parental input regarding activities is collected and considered.
