Communication
Communication is an important part of Miley Achievement Center's Program. Keeping parents informed of their child's school program is a vital part of their Individual Intervention Plan. Daily point sheets are sent home for parents to monitor their child's academic and behavior progress. Progress reports are sent home every four and a half weeks with academic updates. ParentLink is updated weekly to assist parents in monitoring their child's academic progress. Staff meets with parents, guardians, and all wrap-around services provided for the student yearly through the child's IEP. In addition, we have parent trainings, quarterly newsletters, after-school activities, and school-based events that help foster parent and school communication.
