Spring Valley High School communicates with parents, families and the community using multiple sources. Through ParentLink, written and phone-dialing, messages are delivered to the Spring Valley stakeholders in regards to information that will be critical for student success. Regularly updated postings to the school website allow for the most current topics to be accessed by the community. Monthly scheduled Parent Advisory Committee meetings create an opportunity for parents to express their opinion and ideas to the school staff and administration. Special event nights such as Open House, Freshmen Orientation, Clubs/Activities Showcase, Senior Awards Night and Seasonal Athletic Meetings provide useful information. Spring Valley faculty members act as mentors to the students and communicate with both the students and the parents through phone calls and e-mails. District and school specific communications occur through both general and certified mailings in a bilingual format.
