Communication
At Liberty High School, parent communication is a cornerstone for student achievement. Monthly newsletters are published and sent to parents containing information on school news, student achievement, recognitions, and upcoming events. Postcards are sent to parents to provide information regarding testing, registration, graduation, and other special events. Liberty launched its new website with the goal of increased communication to the Liberty community regarding academics, athletics, and activities. Parents have an opportunity through Parent Advisory Council to provide input. Liberty has numerous nighttime functions to provide the community information on special events, such as: Back to School BBQ, Open House, Scholarship Information Night, Advanced Placement/Honors Night, 8th Grade Orientation Night, Senior Awards Night, and Hispanic Parent Night. ParentLink provides parents with a weekly update on student's grades and attendance which enhances parent conferences and teacher/parent relationships.
