Communication
Bonanza High School utilizes technology to communicate information to parents; however, hard copies of informational flyers and letters are available throughout the school. The BHS website features a hot item toolbar with up-to-date information regarding testing dates, registration, tutoring, and important upcoming events. The e-mail addresses of all staff members are also available on the school website. The Guidance Office maintains a separate mailing for scholarship and financial aid information. The guidance counselors hold parent-teacher conferences almost daily. The Parent Advisory (PAC) meets monthly with administration and is kept abreast of all school events. Parents from feeder schools are invited to PAC meetings and evening registration where they can tour the building and meet staff members. ParentLink allows parents to view student grades, assignments and attendance via the Internet. ParentLink's robot caller is used to communicate information such as testing dates or school meetings to parents. Special mailings are prepared for back-to-school, Open House, NHSPE tutoring, AP/College Night, and Financial Aid Night.
