Communication among teachers, students, and parents is critical to promote student success. Teachers upload weekly to ParentLink, an online system provided to every parent. Through this system, parents may access academic progress, citizenship, and attendance. If parents do not have access to a computer at home, they may utilize a computer provided on campus. To promote parent communication during pre-registration, students use an online system that allows parents to review their student's elective choice. In addition, we conduct orientation presentations for our incoming sixth grade students and parents. We encourage parents to attend open house and monthly parent advisory committee meetings, volunteer at the school, and schedule conferences with teachers to ensure student success. Every student is provided with a student planner with the policies and procedures of our school. Students and parents may also use this as a communication tool between teachers and parents. Finally, we maintain an updated website with all of our course expectations, announcements, and calendars.
