Mack MS staff and administration strive to maintain open communication with families and community members to provide an environment that fosters academic and social success. To welcome students and families, Maverick Jump Start Day is held in August. Our Open House is held in September to provide an opportunity for families to visit teachers and classrooms. Also, throughout the year, community and family nights are held. Bi-monthly newsletters are mailed to families and community members. We hold Parent Advisory Council (PAC) meetings bi-monthly. The school website provides information regarding activities and events and provides parents with a link to e-mail teachers and administrators. The ParentLink online system provides access via the web for families to check academic progress and attendance as well asmated calls to keep parents informed of important events. Parent-teacher conferences are held upon request. Agendas are used to help students gain organizational skills and promote communication with families.
