We utilize ParentLink to keep parents updated on their child's progress and attendance. In addition, teachers and counselors are available to meet with parents as needed. This year we held a "Data and Dinner" event that focused on individual student achievement. Families had the opportunity to review their child's CRT and other assessment data, and were able to sign up for after-school tutoring. The school sent out a newsletter several times which highlighted programs and events. Monthly parent meetings were held on a variety of topics. Title 1 funds were used to purchase computer software to help parents learn English, as well as to help staff learn Spanish. The library was open to the community daily to help support this program. Parents and community members were involved in our Empowerment and Student Generated Funds Committee.
