Swainston Middle School incorporates many community partnership programs throughout the school year, such as monthly PAC meetings, Open House, Awards Night and Family Nights. Parents are invited to partake in Parent Teacher Conferences to keep them abreast of student progress. As part of articulation with our feeder schools, future Swainston students and families are invited to our Spring Family Night. Parents are always welcome to volunteer at Swainston. We published a Parent Guide, and our newsletters are in English and Spanish to inform parents of school and district policies. Parents are notified of current events, curriculum, activities and initiatives via the website, newsletter, flyers, ParentLink and the-dialer. Parental input is encouraged prior to decisions being made, and parents are always welcome to share their concerns with the principal at any time. Feedback from parents plays a vital role in the decision-making process.
