Communication
A defining point for the Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy (AACPA) is the commitment the school’s administration and staff make to develop strong, dependable lines of communication between themselves and students, the students’ parents, and community members. Some examples of methods in which parents and members of the community are able to stay informed about student achievement and the school’s current events include: the school’s website (www.agassiprep.net), themated phone-calling system (One Call Now), online grade and attendance records for parents (EdLine), and our quarterly newsletter, the Star Gazette. AACPA also strives to provide a variety of forums in which parents and families have an opportunity to communicate with the school’s administration and staff. This communication takes place via parent-teacher-student conferences, Chancellor parent-meetings, College Access family meetings, the Parent Advisory Committee, and through regularly conducted parent surveys. The administration and staff at AACPA believe that a strong partnership with parents helps to foster a more enriching environment for our students, staff, and the overall community.
