Harvey N. Dondero Elementary School prides itself on the ability to communicate with our bi-lingual and English-speaking parents, students, and community. This is achieved through the use of bilingual correspondence created and translated on site, such as monthly newsletters, ParentLink communications, flyers of upcoming school events, and bi-monthly student progress reports indicating academic and citizenship progress. Dondero Elementary School holds six full CSN adult English night classes throughout the year to increase English language skills for Dondero parents and community members. These adult classes provide parents with the necessary skills to assist their child(ren) with their education. School functions, such as academic/citizenship assemblies, field day week, Arts Alive, and musical productions, encourage parent volunteers to participate and support school programs and classroom activities.
