Each month parents receive a newsletter that reports school news, academic celebrations, and events. The ParentLink communication system is utilized weekly to keep parents informed of important information and current grades. Additionally, teachers send home progress reports every two weeks and utilize parent conferences as part of daily communication with families. The Helen Marie Smith Parent Concern Form is available for parents to express their thoughts and concerns in writing. Once this form is completed and turned in, a response is provided within 24 hours. Our school sponsors various events throughout the year such as Open House, Winter Singing, Donuts for Dad, Muffins for Mom, grade level trimester award assemblies, and geography and math bees. Our Parent Teacher Organization also supports our Fall Festival and hosts monthly parent meetings.
