Wengert Paw Prints is sent bi-monthly and contains information about school news, student achievement and school activities. Monthly Second Cup of Coffee meetings are held with parents to provide information, discuss and collaborate about instruction and school-wide activities. During monthly Parent Involvement Day, parents are invited to join the students in the classroom, the last hour of the instructional day, at which lessons and strategies to address school improvement academic goals such as reading comprehension, writing process and mathematical problems are shared and discussed as a family. Wengert Family Auxiliary (WFA) served as members of advisory groups, committees and parent/staff organizations. WFA established goals and made decisions regarding the Learning Improvement Team, School Safety/Security, Library Book Fair and School Generated Funds. Wengert's website disseminates information regarding staff, programs, activities and calendars to parents/guardians.
