The Twin Lakes community is kept informed using a variety of methods. Twin Lakes conveys school events through monthly newsletters, flyers, and ParentLink. Parents are informed of academic progress through weekly progress reports, conferences, and report cards. The faculty also uses the telephone (ParentLink) to inform families of student progress, concerns, and special events. Additionally, Twin Lakes hosts monthly Breakfast with Books and three Family Literacy Nights that focus on state standards in reading, math, and science. Spanish translators are provided for all family events. All Twin Lakes communication is sent home in English and Spanish to support parental involvement. In addition, Twin Lakes has an updated webpage that keeps the community and parents informed of upcoming events. A community information center is provided monthly for all parents.
