During the 2010-2011 school year, our Open House was attended by approximately 99% of our families and our Parent Teacher Conferences were supported by 95% percent of our parents. Attendance at school functions was consistently high, including our monthly Community Connections meetings, the annual Science Fair, family nights, book fairs, festivals, multicultural celebrations, various field trips, and the awards assemblies held each trimester. School newsletters were sent home on a bimonthly basis to inform families about school news, student achievement, upcoming events, and CCSD and school activities. Staff members were readily accessible to community members to provide the necessary support to create a cooperative spirit to promote student learning. Our Red Rock families continued to support our strong academic program and felt their children were secure, safe, and happy at school.
