Crestwood-Edison engages in meaningful communication with our community throughout the school year. Crestwood holds its annual Back to School Night before the school year begins, providing parents an opportunity to meet the teachers and become acquainted with the curriculum and other items unique to Crestwood. Family Literacy, Data, and Game Nights, Muffins for Moms, Donuts for Dads, and our 2nd Cup of Coffee Parent meetings are held throughout the school year, providing parents a means to interact with students and teachers within the school setting. Our Movie Nights and yearly Spring Carnival provide students and families opportunities to have fun with our school community. Student Learning Conferences are held four times a year during which time the teacher, student, and parents meet to discuss student progress and set new goals. In alignment with these conferences, Achievement Assemblies are held to recognize students for reaching their goals. Parent volunteers are also recognized for their participation at school. ParentLink and newsletters keep parents informed of upcoming events. In April, 50 students were able to hone in on their acting skills participating in "Treasure Island", taught by Missoula's Children's Theatre.
