The administration and staff at John Tartan Elementary School believe that when a school community works together, the lives of our children are positively impacted. During 2010 - 2011 school year, John Tartan Elementary School has maintained open lines of communication with families and community. Tartan staff provides two-way communication through personal contacts and written communication. Contacts include parent conferences, Open House, ParentLink, Meet & Greet, academic progress reports, phone calls, newsletters, Trunk & Treat, ARRA meetings, and informal conferences among staff, parents, and students. Additionally, Tartan Elementary welcomes parent volunteers in the classrooms.
