Mervin Iverson Elementary School consistently provides two-way communication with parents, family and the community. Weekly ParentLink announcements and monthly parent bulletins are sent out and posted on the school web page. Parent bulletins consist of upcoming events, safety concerns and school activities. Parent-teacher conferences are held during the district's designated week and throughout the school year as needed. Site administrators meet with parents when absences and tardies are excessive, with the goal of improving the student's attendance. Site administrators have an open-door policy, allowing parents to come and discuss any issue or concern they may have.
