Neil C Twitchell Elementary School believes that for our school to be successful, parents and the community must be valued, voices heard, and included in all aspects of decision-making in the school. Two-way meaningful communication opportunities are provided to parents and the community in a variety of ways, including the marquee in the front of the school and ParentLink on the telephone and computer. Open House is conducted for all grade levels. A weekly newsletter from the principal is sent home school-wide. Monthly newsletters and bi-weekly progress reports are sent home by all teachers, and Student-Teacher-Parent-Academic Planning Time is held with all parents. Additionally, parents are always encouraged to participate in various school committees and are invited to attend or volunteer in all school events and functions.
