William Snyder Elementary School is a family of parents, students, and staff. Parent involvement is encouraged in a variety of ways. Open House in the fall provides an opportunity for parents to meet the staff, learn about curriculum, and become familiar with the school building and grounds. Family involvement activities, such as Snyder Superstar Showcase, adult ESL classes, and Title I parent training and meetings present opportunities for parents to share learning with their children. The school website, www.ccsd.net/schools/Snyder and ParentLink notifications provide updated information on school activities, student assessment calendars, and important dates and meetings to the parents on a regular basis. Periodic newsletters also include information on curriculum, staff members, upcoming events, and testing.
