Communication
ParentLink was utilized to provide parents with daily communication of academic achievement. As well, ParentLink messages were sent out on a consistent basis to notify parents of school news, activities, and other important events. Monthly newsletters also provided information about school news and activities, student achievement, and parent tips. Parents were members of the Learning Improvement Team, safety, literacy, and yearbook. School-wide goals, expectations, and district curriculum were presented at Back to School Night. Attendance letters were sent at regular intervals and required meetings were held for excessive absences/tardiness. Parents attended classroom presentations, music festivals, and school-wide performances that showcased academic achievement. Monthly Parent/Teacher Association meetings were held, and families attended the PTA Reflection program. Donuts with Dad and Muffins with Mom were well attended. PTA established community partnerships.
