In addition to Back-to-School Night, Open House, parent/teacher conferences and award assemblies, communication between parents and the school was promoted through weekly student progress reports, surveys and telephone calls including ParentLink, monthly Parent Institutes, Parent Advisory Group meetings, pre-kindergarten parent workshops, six newsletters and the Robert Lunt ES website. The continuation of the Parent Resource Center provided additional resources to assist parents in helping their children succeed in school. Additionally, parents actively participated on school-wide committees and with the development and monitoring of the Title I and School Improvement plans.
