Communication with the parents of the kindergarten students is provided in many forms. Weekly news letters are sent home with students to inform the parents of important upcoming events, math and language arts objectives, and other classroom activities. Academic information is communicated through monthly reading logs, progress reports/report cards, and daily parent/teacher communication folders. Individualized student behavior reports are used as needed to inform parents of behavioral concerns. Direct communication is achieved through telephone calls and e-mails to and from the teacher. ParentLink also serves as an avenue for parents to monitor their childÆs progress throughout the school year.
