CCJHS continues to work on two way communication to connect home and school. The student database system, PowerSchool, is a great tool for students, parents, and teachers to communicate about student progress as it links directly to email and gives real time information regarding grades and attendance. Letters and progress reports are sent home as needed. Blackboard Connect communication system is used to send home recorded messages via the phone. Student led Parent Conferences are held twice a year. CCJHS also has a website and holds its yearly Back To School Night, 6th to 7th grade visitation days, 6th to 7th Grade Transition Night, a spring concert, quarterly student recognitions, academic recognition reward, sporting events and much more. The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) and Parent Involvement Committee (PIC) meet once a month to discuss any information and provide support to the school.
