The Mineral County School District staff recognize the value of parent participation in the education of thier children. To that end, the District makes every effort to keep parents informed about and welcomed into our schools. The methods utilized by District staff to assist with two-way communication include:
PowerSchool data entry
Email
Hosting Parent Nights and Learning Showcase Nights
Holding Parent Conferences at least two time each year
Publishing monthly newsletters for each site and the District
Publishing information in the local newspaper monthly
Providing opportunities to serve on committees and volunteer in our schools
Partnering with local agencies to share information about our schools
Phone calls to parents
