The mission of Silver State Charter Schools is to provide a quality, public secondary non-traditional school which improves the opportunities of its students to learn. |

Silver State High School has had a very successful 2010-2011 school year, being our seventh year helping students succeed; our good reputation continues to spread throughout the community.- We continue to offer a rigorous NDE approved curriculum that increases student achievement.
- Field Trips are still an important part of our "Hands-on" curriculum
- Test Results - HSPE results continue with a high pass rate for all subjects on the first try.
- Technology - Silver State High School is cited as one of the most technological state-of-the-art high schools in Nevada.
- Our school is a safe place to be. We continue to have very few student fights, vandalism, suspensions or police interventions.
- Great Opportunities to Learn - Students work with teachers on a 1-on-1 basis and establish a rapport unlike any other school.
- We continue our accreditation process as we are provisionally accredited; the rigorous process takes several years.

Goals and Objectives |
Goal 1 Silver State Charter Schools will improve the opportunities of its students to learn.
Objective(s): Silver State Charter Schools' students tested for AYP will meet or exceed standards of the High School Proficiency Exam by 52% in the area of Mathematics, 73% in the area of Reading and 89% in the area of Writing.
Goal 2 89% of Silver State Charter Schools' students tested for AYP will meet or exceed standards of the High School Proficiency Exam in the area of Writing.
