Marvin Picollo School continues to fulfill facility improvement projects while also expanding program options.- Continued operation of therapeutic horseback riding program.
- Successful completion of Knights of Columbus (Tootsie Roll sales) and Spaghetti Dinner fundraisers.
- Purchase of new computers for every classroom on campus
- Introduction of a towel laundering program
- Introduction of a cleaning enclave
- Introduction of six new off site vocational programs
- Introduction, funding and approval of a school library
- Introduction, funding and approval of a handrail project
- Introduction, funding and approval of a memorial garden project

Goals and Objectives |
Goal 1 Goal 1: All classrooms will align instruction and assessment to a newly adopted functional skills curriculum.
Objective(s): Objective(s) 1:
Instruction and assessment aligned to “The FACTER” (Functional Assessment and Curriculum for Tracking Everyday Routines), will be implemented in all classrooms with the support of continuous administrative oversight, professional development and ongoing teacher collaboration.
Goal 2 Goal 2: Facility expansion, remodeling and maintenance needs will be identified and executed.

The Picollo School Leadership Team working through their site administration will collaborate with appropriate District level plant operations authorities to design and wherever possible, complete, crucial school-wide renovations.
Goal 3 Goal 3:
Staff will increase participation in “Professional Learning Communities.”

Teachers and ancillary staff in all classrooms will benefit from increased opportunity to collaborate towards alignment of curriculum, instruction and assessment during newly adopted minimum days.
