Damonte Ranch is proud of its 7-12 configuration offering challenging academic and extra-curricular opportunities for all students.- Damonte Ranch was recognized as High Achieving for the 2007-2008 school year by NCLB.
- As a result of accreditation and freshman seminar, data supports a trend of increased student success.
- Damonte Ranch recognized its first 2009 Northern Nevada Top Ten Athlete of the Year.
- The Drama Department produced fourteen spectacular shows in one year.
- Five counselors earned National Board Certification and National School Counselor Certification.
- Fifteen percent of the student population received a 3.75 or higher GPA and an Academic Excellence Award.
- A Damonte Ranch staff member was recognized for the Excellence in Education Award.
- Two staff members received the WEA Distinguished Performance Award.
- Damonte Ranch recognized its first student to be accepted into the Naval Academy in Annapolis.

Goals and Objectives |
Goal 1 All 7th and 8th grade students will increase performance in math achievement measured by state and district exams.
Objective(s): To make progress toward the AYP math achievement goal the percentage of all students, especially our IEP and FRL students, meeting or exceeding the standard on the state and district exams will increase by 10%.
Goal 2 Damonte Ranch will meet the testing participation rate for Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) in all nine subgroups.
Objective(s): To meet the AYP participation goal the percentage of students participating in tests used to measure AYP will increase from 93.04% to 95%.
Goal 3 Freshman will demonstrate adequate progress in credit accrual toward graduation.
Objective(s): The number of credit deficient freshman will decrease by 10%.
