Academy for Career Education High School teaches skills for today's construction and engineering industry through integrated academics with a focus on employability skills which prepare students to graduate and be productive citizens. |

Academy for Career Education (ACE High School) celebrated many accomplishments and achievements in the 2010-2011 school year:- ACE has met AYP for No Child Left Behind for its 8th consecutive year.
- 25 students competed in 8 SkillsUSA events and won numerous gold, silver, and bronze medals at the Nevada Skills Conference.
- 3 ACE students qualified for the National SkillsUSA Competition in Kansas City in plumbing, residential wiring, and masonry.
- ACE’s Adv. Building Trades students completed construction on the student built 1456 square foot house appraised at $185,000.
- ACE gave back to the community by constructing play houses and storage sheds that were donated to various charities.
- All Advanced Building Trades students received their OSHA certification card as part of their building trades curriculum.
- ACE’s CADD Program upgraded its computers to continue being on the cutting edge of technology as an Autodesk Design Academy.
- NV Works awarded ACE a grant for curricular enhancement and mentoring for its Diesel Tech. and Adv. Building Trades Programs.
- ACE’s Freshman Program continues to prove effective; 100% of the cohort earned 6 or more credits and are on track to graduate.

Goals and Objectives |
Goal 1 Mathematics: Students will be proficient in math as measured by the HSPE Annual Measurable Objectives (AMO).
Objective(s): ACE’s AYP student cohort will meet the AMO of 71.3% on the mathematics HSPE by the end of the 2010-2011 school year.
Goal 2 English Language Arts (ELA): ACE students will be proficient in ELA as measured by the HSPE Annual Measurable Objectives.
Objective(s): ACE’s AYP student cohort will meet the Annual Measurable Objective of 86.7% on the ELA portions of the HSPE by the end of the 2010-2011 school year.
Goal 3 Enrollment: ACE will increase student enrollment to 210 students for the 2011-2012.
Objective(s): ACE will increase its student enrollment as measured by the state mandated count day in September 2011.
