ICDA completed its 13th year of operation in 2011. The school's mission to instill integrity, character, dedication and achievement through innovative education is central to ICDA's success.- ICDA and TMCC collaborate on an Articulation Agreement allowing ICDA computer students to earn up to five college credits.
- ICDA upgraded the student library through grant funds to purchase new books, computers, shelving units, and book carts.
- ICDA increased technology in the classrooms by adding six Smartboards, LED projectors, and an Audio Enhancement system.
- The Grand Sierra hosted commencement on June 2. 45 students graduated in the Grand Theater in front of more than 1000 people.
- ICDA added Distance Ed to its curriculum, and added an additional 1000 sq. feet of classroom to facilitate the program.
- ICDA government students participated in the We the People competition at TMCC after months of intense preparation.
- ICDA favorably completed the Northwest Association Accreditation and Five-Year Plan, and was approved for reaccreditation.
- ICDA hired six math tutors to provide each math student with individualized assistance in the classroom throughout the year.
- ICDA increased the length of the Academic Success classes. Students receive proficiency skills in math, writing and science.

Goals and Objectives |
Goal 1 Increase HSPE achievement.
Objective(s): ICDA will increase the total passage rate on the HSPE in ELA and mathematics by 2% each year.
Goal 2 Increase student motivation for learning.
Objective(s): ICDA will increase Average Daily Attendance by 3% each year to meet AYP expectations.
Goal 3 Increase parent/community involvement in the ICDA community.
Objective(s): ICDA will solicit and retain community involvement to include no less than 10% of the parent/guardian population and at least three community-based citizens or businesses each year.
