Incline High School had several noteworthy accomplishments during the 2008-2009 school year:- Incline High School again made the list of BEST SCHOOLS IN AMERICA as compiled by Newsweek Magazine.
- Incline High's AVID PROGRAM, designed to serve students in the middle range, continues to grow successfully.
- The percentage of students who score a 3 or higher on the Advanced Placement (AP) exams remains high.
- The MI CULTURA CLUB continues to be a recognized leader in school activities for both Latino and non-Latino students.
- Incline High School achieved the rating of HIGH ACHIEVING as measured by the Nevada No Child Left Behind legislation.
- Incline High remains one of the top schools in the district according to the "Challenge Index" of the Washington Post.
- Over 40% of Incline High's student body participates in SPORTS.
- Incline High School is now wired for the INTERNET and WIRELESS computer operations are now available in each classroom.
- The INCLINE STAR FOLLIES and the Incline Boosters continues to provide funds for remediation and technology in the school.

Goals and Objectives |
Goal 1 The achievement levels of all students will increase in core curricular areas.
Objective(s): A. Continue the After School Homework Club and individual tutoring.
B. The implementation of enrichment/remediation into the daily schedule.
C. Increase use of R.T.I. to improve instruction and student success.
Goal 2 Increase the number of minority students in honors and AP classes by 10%.
Objective(s): A. Identify potential honors and AP students early.
B. Provide support for minority students in AP classes.
C. Enlist assistance of tutors from the local college. Success will be measured by the number of minority students enrolled.
Goal 3 Continue the implementation of the AVID program to assist the students in the middle in reaching their potential.
Objective(s): A. Move the AVID program schoolwide to have an impact on all students.
B. Implement Cornell note taking methods in all classrooms.
C. Refine the recruitment and retention of AVID scholars through better communication with middle school teachers and parents.
